Bartlett Earns Second NEWMAC Weekly Honor

WASHINGTON — For the second time this season, sophomore kicker Pearce Bartlett earned NEWMAC Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week for The Catholic University of America.

Bartlett accounted for nine points in the Cardinals road victory at Maine Maritime, 33-14, that evened their record at 5-5 overall.

He connected on two field goals of 30 and 25 yards in the third quarter that pushed Catholic to a 27-6 lead. The West Chester, Pa., native also drilled home three extra points and handled six kickoffs with an average of 60.5 yards and two touchbacks.

Bartlett took home his first honor after Catholic's road win at Coast Guard, 20-14, on September 30. Catholic boasts four weekly honorees this season as senior Patrick Vidal earned the top defensive accolade twice.
