Kuchler Leads Catholic at NCAA Regionals

Newport News, Va. — Junior Kevin Kuchler led the way for The Catholic University of America at the 2017 NCAA South/Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship at Christopher Newport University.

In a field of over 220 competitors, Kuchler finished 104th and set a new personal best with a time of 26:48.3 as he averaged a 5:23.6 mile.

Sophomore Cosmo Pirozzi checked in at 122nd and also set a new PR with a time of 27:04.1.

Freshman Vincent Pham (117th, 28:26.5) and graduate student Michael Taylor (196th, 29:52.4) also competed for Catholic against 32 other teams in the region.
