Women's Golf Takes Sixth in Revolutionary Collegiate Classic

RISING SUN, Md. - The Catholic University women's golf team took sixth out of nine competing teams at this weekend's Revolutionary Collegiate Classic at Chesapeake Bay Golf Course, scoring a 735 in two rounds of play.

Freshman Mary Colella carded the lowest score for the Cardinals over the weekend (178, +36), and finished 16th individually out of 47 total golfers. Sophomore Tess Murphy followed close behind with a 180 score for an 18th place finish.

Freshman JoJo Parker scored the lowest for Catholic in the classic with her second round 87. The 87 is Parker's career best, eclipsing her 88 score from last weekend's Greene Turtle Invitational. Classmate Jordan Farrell finished tied for 26th with her 190 score.

Fellow freshmen Olivia Brogan (198, +56) and Carolyn Mueller (218, +76) rounded out the team for the Cardinals. 

York College won the classic with a team score of 667 (+99). 

Catholic competes once more this fall season in the Eastern Invitational in St. David's, Pa. on Monday, October 22 on St. David's Golf Course.
