FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Catholic University women's soccer team won its fourth straight game of the year with a 2-1 victory over Berry College on Saturday afternoon.
Berry found the back of the net first in the 13th minute when a shot rebounded off the post and was put back in for a 1-0 lead.
Boras answered for the Cards before halftime with her unassisted effort in the 37th minute.
Sophomore goalkeeper Nina Fernandez made four first half saves on her way to another win in between the posts for Catholic.
Johnson struck again in the 57th minute to take a 2-1 lead for the Cardinals. The two juniors now have five goals each in just four matches to start the season.
Berry outshot Catholic 14-9 in the contest. The Cardinals go again in the University of Mary-Washington tournament tomorrow against Huntingdon College at 12:30 p.m.
