Lyons Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Accolade

WASHINGTON — After her performance at this past Saturday's South/Southeast NCAA Regional Championship, The Catholic University of America senior Kiera Lyons earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors.

Lyons sped to a school record and a 19th-place finish at the NCAA Regional as she crossed the finish line in 22:26.8.

The Harwood, Md., native earns the all-region distinction as a top-35 finisher at one of the eight regional sites across the country.

This was Lyons first-ever season running cross country as she had competed in women's soccer, women's diving and track & field in previous seasons at Catholic University.
