WASHINGTON, D.C - The Catholic University women's cross country team was ranked at No. 9 in the South/Southeast Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.
The Cardinals have started their 2018 season under first-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Steve Rahn with two impressive meets. They opened their season finishing first at the Howard Labor Day Classic, recording six top-10 finishers, including two in the top three.
Catholic continued its success at the Dutchmen Invitational, finishing third with two top-10 finishers. The team's overall finish placed them second out of seven Landmark Conference teams.
After a bye week, the Cardinals return to action this Saturday at the Hornet Harrier Invite hosted by Shenandoah University.
