Lyons, Cardinals Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Catholic University women's cross country senior Kiera Lyons has been named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Individual Performer.

In order to be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet. This season, Lyons posted a 3.86 GPA while double majoring in physics and studio art to earn her second straight USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual Performer honor.

Lyons also helped her team to their third straight USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors with a 3.51 cumulative team GPA.
