Thanks to the generosity of Joe Carlini '84 and Christine Carlini '86, Carlini Field was officially opened on March 20, 2019 when the 16th-ranked women's lacrosse team hosted No. 2 Franklin & Marshall.
The former bermuda grass home of the Catholic men's and women's soccer teams has been renovated to include the installation of a multi-use turf field that will be home to men's and women's soccer and men's and women's lacrosse.
The field is a Fieldturf I-Core Field that is a certified level II field by FIFA and measures 120 yards long by 72 yards wide. It features a MUSCO LED Light System with light levels capable of televising games at a regional broadcast level, daktronics scoreboard and bleacher seating for up to 600 people. There are Kwik Goal shelters installed to protect teams from the elements, graphics packages installed to highlight varsity teams' accomplishments and a state of the art sound system.
In addition to the field, there are also 144 parking spaces and fully handicap accessible, a concessions area, ticket and merchandise booth and full-service restrooms for fans. There will also be free WiFi available for all those in attendance.
