Cardinals Participate at Inter-Regional Border Battle

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The Catholic University women's cross country team finished 21st out of 27 teams with 582 points at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University on Saturday, Oct. 19. 

Sophomore Paige Wilderotter placed 84th out of 224 runners with a time of 23:41.9. She was followed by senior Alex Filiault in 103rd place (24:01.4) , senior Marykate Higley in 136th place (24:29.8) and sophomore Hannah Marino in 146th place (24:39.1). 
 
"We had another chance today to see where we compare with our conference competition," said Coach Rahn. "We had strrong performances on women's side led by Paige and Alex who's coming on strong the last few weeks. The women's squad also had four personal records from Marykate, Alex, Jillian Colbert, and Carolina Del Cueto on her birthday. We are excited for the upcoming conferece championships on November 2."
 
The Cardinals will host the Landmark Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Colmar Manor beginning at 10 a.m.
